Postpartum Doula: Help When You Need It Most

The first few months after arriving home with your new baby/babies can be daunting and extremely tiring. As a first-time parent, feeling exhausted is quite a natural response after giving birth. You may feel a sense of panic at first then when your partner goes back to work, you may feel lost and lonely.

Every newborn baby is different – a unique person with no instruction manual on bathing, feeding, clothing and caring.  Although you may have read several books, talked to other parents and even had other children, sometimes an expert can make all the difference.

Hiring a qualified Postpartum Doula, connects you to someone who has substantial experience caring for infants. Such Doulas are trained to be proficient in all aspects of infant care from: feeding, clothing, bathing, and many more challenges yet to come.

After being trained as a Postpartum Doula, I decided to establish my own services to provide new moms with a helping hand and rich source of information on newborn care. I spent many years working in Europe where newborn care professionals are well-known in every household. My main intention is ‘Help, Advise and Support’ during this precious time.  Services I offer are always provided with emotional and physical support.

It has been said that it takes a village to raise a child. I look at my work as providing an extra pair of hands and guidance when needed.
