It's crunch time! The school year is starting soon and getting prepared can seem overwhelming. We’ve broken it down into five quick and simple tips that can have a huge positive impact:
5 TIPS TO GET READY FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR:
Tip #1. Make a school year SCHEDULE and post it for everyone in the family to see.
Tip #2. Ask your children THEIR opinion on clothing, supplies and lunch ideas.
Tip #3. Create reminders throughout the day to stay FOCUSED, calm and prepared for when things get hectic or stressful.
Tip #4. Create a SUPPORT GROUP of friends, family members, school parents or colleagues to help offer support or a listening ear when you feel overwhelmed or anxious.
Tip #5. Spend these last few days together BONDING and CONNECTING together (as a family and individually) before the school year begins.
