As you may or may not know, I have daily struggles with my daughter when it comes to getting dressed. She always picks clothes that are inappropriate for the weather, her age, an activity. Today, on a cold December day, she felt a tank top with spaghetti straps would be perfect. When she emerged from her room in said tank top, I suggested it was too cold to wear.
"Okay," she answered. "I'll change."
Wow, I thought. That went much smoother than it usually does.
A few minutes later, she re-appeared. She had changed her clothes alright.
"See, Mommy?" she said, pointing to her outfit, which was no longer one tank top, but three, layered on top of each other. "Now I won't be cold!"

I too, struggle with my daughter's clothing decisions, every day. My suggestion, as I have learned throughout her four years, is to only put in her closet, what I think she should be wearing. So make sure her closet is season appropriate. Good luck!
Great idea, Michelle!
Sounds logical-bright child;>))
