Feeding your child a prepared meal while waiting for a restaurant meal works well!

Hi, Anonymous 2:

Taking turns eating...pretty much the routine during the first couple of years of parenting! :)Larahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08659344610469111382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18539598.post-12332462861567867772010-04-08T22:21:07.342-07:002010-04-08T22:21:07.342-07:00We were "THE family" last night at White...We were "THE family" last night at WhiteSpot. Our 5 year old was content to colour and eat her pirate pak. Our 2 1/2 year old was another story...tired, coming down with a cold and not interested in eating. He cried briefly and whined a lot but we were quick to remove him from the main dining area and distract him in any way we could (it was too cold and rainy to go outside but we would have if the conditions were better). My husband and I took turns eating.

The way I feel is that just because we made a unwise decision to take our clearly unhappy child out for dinner, doesn't mean the other patrons should have to suffer for our poor judgement.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18539598.post-61023815569042943012010-04-08T22:05:01.002-07:002010-04-08T22:05:01.002-07:00You could have included "Any of the above&quo...You could have included "Any of the above" or "Crackers fill the hole until dinner comes" or "Bring the baby's dinner with me from home" With the latter, I could feed while waiting for the meal to come so we could eat it with no interuptions. But I REALLY agree that leaving a baby to cry for 20 minutes anywhere in public is the ultimate in thoughtlessnessAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
